Learn what you need to know...
for your greatest chance at success
EJ Thornton founded Profitable Publishing dba
Books To Believe In
in 1998 after first publishing her novel
Angel On Board.
Discovering there were precious
few resources for the first time author, EJ decided to
follow her love of teaching and became the 'teaching
publisher.' Leading by example, she's taught hundreds of
authors the principles of book design, book publishing and
21st centurybook marketing.
What do you need to know as an author
about your book project that a publisher can teach you?
EJ Thornton is uniquely qualified to consult with you on your book project from the conception stage all the way through and past publication. Her books include "The Basics of Profitable Publishing" which is published online in its entirety, "Revenue BeyondRoyalties" which tells authors how to make careers out of the material in the books they write, and "Advanced Book Marketing" which helps authors make an impact with their books even if they are not well-known authors.
EJ Thornton wrote "Angel On Board" in 1998. It is a timeless fictionnovel that was well recieved, but she didn't know how 'to get it out there.' Realizing there were precious few resources for a first time author, she vowed to learn what she needed to know about publishing, and then teach that publishing information to others in the same situation.
EJ Thornton has been teaching a publishing course through the Community Ed program in Denver since 2002 and taught dozens of classes and hundreds of students.
EJ Thornton was a computer analyst for 20 years prior to writing her novel. She was in the business of systemizing business' processes. So applying her skills to her publishing experience and the many other authors' experiences, EJ developed a process to make it easy, understandable and profitable for all authors to get published and their books sold.
EJ Thornton offers many classes and she consults one on one with authors. For more information contact her at ej@ejthornton.com.
If you are not yet well-known and no one knows the title of your book - then your future customers aren't searching for you on the Internet.
How do you get them to discover your book? It's easy. The concept is called Associative Marketing and publishers have been using it since time began to sell books. As an author, you also need to tap into the system so that you can significantly increase your book sales on the Internet. It is explained in great detail in the book Advanced Book Marketing.
It's not a matter of getting them to notice you and your book, it's putting your book where your customers are already searching for answers, and everyone wins...
